Battery-grade trimanganese tetroxide is a precursor developed by our company for lithium manganese oxide, a cathode material for lithium-ion batteries. It has the following advantages:

(1) The product has high purity (Mn3O4%≧99.0%) and low impurity content (Fe%≦200ppm, and exists as oxides);

(2) The specific surface area is small (the specific surface area is less than 2m2/g);

(3) Large tap density (up to 2.3g/cm3);

(4) It has a spherical morphology.
